????????? Network ?????
File shares are the same wireless or wired..

Just run the network setup wizard on each machine!

Here are the basics.

All machines will need to be in the same WORKGROUP

All machines need a different computer name.

The Vista machine will need to be set to ';Private'; network

All the firewalls have to allow the LOCAL network.

The folders you want ';shared'; will have to be shared on each machine.

Thats it in a nutshell..

here is a step by step from ehow.

Just follow the 5 steps.

Need more assistance.. here is a really detailed list for setup

from the technet forum at Microsoft.????????? Network ?????
Create a ftp server using windows server 2003/2007, or have the computers going through a windows server. The server will have folders for all the computers
MAKE SURE YOUR WIRELESS IS SECURE FIRST!

OK. Start by identifying which machine will share these files. One is better, because you dont have several machines storing files.

The XP Pro is the best in this solution.

NEW USER

Create a new user for the files.

CLick Start %26gt; Right Click My Computer and Click Manage.

Expand Users and Groups. Right Click Users, and select New user.

Add a new user and set a password.

NOW FOR THE FOLDER.

Right click a folder you want to share, click properties, then sharing.

Click share this folder.

Click Permissions, and remove the everyone group. (Very unsecure leaving this)

Click add. Type the name of the new user. Click OK. Check allow full Control for the user. Click the security tab. Click add. Type the name of the new user. Click full conrol, allow. Click ok out.

BREATHE.

OK, Click Start %26gt; Right Click My Computer and click Computer Name.

Right down the full computer name.

MAKE SURE THE FIREWALL IS OFF ON THE LAPTOP.

On one of the other machines, Click Start %26gt; Run.

type \\{computername of the laptop}

a username / password prompt appears. Type computername/{username you created} and password created. The shared folder appears. Drag the folder icon on the address bar to the desktop.

Repeat on each other machine.

The Home edition machines are not very secure for this stuff and Vista... Well, talk about a pain.

All you have to do is go to networkmagic.com download the free trial to all your computers and wala! This will also let you do wireless printing from all your laptops. the software is only 23 dollars but you can use the free trial and share as many files as you want before the trial goes out. or you can go to downloads.com search network magic and their should be some free ones people uploaded, they are spyware tested but i would run an anti spyware on them anyways, but the best thing to do is to just buy it for 23 dollars. it works great, i bearly got it yesterday(the trial version i cant afford to buy it!) and it works great i put all my files from my desktop to my laptop in a matter of seconds! I also shared my whole itunes library with a freinds laptop this way(4000 songs!) thats a lot of money saved!!
