How can I setup a network storage on my wireless linksys network?

I would like to hook my external hard drive to my network so my wife and I can save to that drive rather than our laptops. We don't have a computer hooked to the router. We have the modem, a linksys wireless router and that's it. What do you suggest I do?How can I setup a network storage on my wireless linksys network?
What you're looking for is called an NAS, a Network Attached Storage. It's an external disk drive with some network smarts that plugs into your router with ethernet cable. If you have an external drive with an Ethernet port, you just connect it with a cable to the router. It doesn't matter if your computers are connected with wires or not to the router.
The NAS drive will need to connected to a wireless server to be able to be seen by the network. Here are a few folks that make the product you want
