How do you automatically connect to a specific network on sony vaio laptop?

I own a new sony vaio laptop, and initially, whenever I selected a network to connect to, I was given the option to automatically connect to that specific network. Now, I am no longer given the option to automatically connect without doing it manually. Is there anyway I can get the option back?How do you automatically connect to a specific network on sony vaio laptop?
Right click on the wireless computer icon down in the right hand corner of the screen Choose ';View Available Wireless Networks'; - left hand side of dialog box - ';change order of preferred Networks'; - eliminate all other networks but the one you want to automatically connect to.
