What is the life expectancy of network components?

I'd like to know how long will certain components in a network will last until they need to be replaced. The components I'd like to find this out for are cat 5 cables, Ethernet jacks, patch panels, dsu/csu, router, telephone cables, and telephone jacks.

This is in an office environment. Thanks for the help! What is the life expectancy of network components?
All copper wires(like cat5e etc) 60-200 Years (unless things such as knives are uncovered and fall) Routers etc, 2-25 YearsWhat is the life expectancy of network components?
5 years on telephone systems,%26amp; routers. cables cat5 create magnetic campus when not ran propery or cross on power lines make sure you rack o pachpanel %26amp; phone sys. was ground
There isn't really a certain ';lifetime'; to how long your components last. Since it is an office environment however, I assume that there isn't smoking permitted within the building. Which is a good thing because smoking can cut the life expectancy of hardware by half.

If I was to assume that everything is taken care of (such as the cables are put away, ethernet jacks are covered and maintained, routers are dusted and have open air flow, etc etc...) you could see them last easily 10 to 15 years minimum.

This isn't counting power surges and unknown variables.
