How to set-up a secure network and connection between multiple business sites?

We are a small business that needs to integrate multiple (4) sites across the US. We are implementing a new CRM/ERP system that I would like my employees to access. Currently the CRM would run on a dedicated server at one specific site (thus securely available to all those network users), but the other three sites need to be able to access it. What is the best (and most economic) architecture?

Thanks for all your help.

Dr. Oz,

You would need a firewall at each location that supports VPN (virtual private network) connections. The firewall provides a secure method via encryption of the data to link the offices. Each office would be on a seperate subnet. You would first want to gather pricing on 4 firewalls. It may be easier to setup if all the firewalls supported the same encryption types. You will NEED a firewall if you want to keep your data secure. If you can connect from one office to another, without a firewall, others can hack and cause much damage. Hello dr,

My friend has law firm in CA, and he was also facing problem of accessing data file and software among his different offices. some one told him to use Hosted application. and he is now happy with the hosting application from http://www.onthenetoffice.com I think you can also use that.

hope you will get something good from here
