How do you enable your computers network settings to be active?

My network settings seem to be not active. How do i set them to become active?How do you enable your computers network settings to be active?
Start button%26gt;Control panel%26gt;Network Connections





Right click the connection that is inactive and choose Enable. That should turn it on for you.
