How to Build a windows network with individual logins?

I am in charge of finding out what we need to do to get a small network (9 computers) set up at our school here in Ecuador. We need each student to have an individual login, and also a network share on the server. We have all Windows XP machines, and can install windows Server 2000 or 2003.





Could someone please direct me to a guide, or the right direction to get this set up? Thanks in advance for your help.How to Build a windows network with individual logins?
8 computers have xp 1 computer will have server 2003, Install active directory, merge the PC's onto the domain and create accounts in active directory.
